In 2017, two seasoned veterans of the trucking industry, Cliff White and Rob Cooch, merged their companies to form Veteran Carriers. With a collective experience of over ten years, their passion and expertise drove the establishment of a new powerhouse in the industry.
Situated merely 5 miles from the prominent Georgia Ports Authority in Savannah, Georgia, Veteran Carriers stands at the forefront of North America's largest single container terminal. Spanning an impressive 3 million square feet, this terminal also boasts expansive warehouse space.
At Veteran Carriers, we take pride in our fleet of 150 trucks, a substantial 90% of which are owned by our company. With a strong focus on Intermodal/Drayage shipping and storage, we have earned a reputation as specialists in this field.
Our strategically located trucking terminals and carefully planned shipping lanes and transportation routes allow us to continue to efficiently serve the Southeast United States as we have been. Cliff White
Cliff White, President of Veteran Carriers, is a highly accomplished individual with a rich background in the military and trucking industry. He began his journey by enlisting in the Air Force as a Tactical Air Control Party (TACP) at 17. After retiring from the USAF, Cliff established Crimson Xpress Trucking in 2012 and recognized the need for improved customer service and driver appreciation.
In 2017, he founded Veteran Carriers, joining forces with fellow Air Force Veteran Rob Cooch. Since then, the company has experienced remarkable growth and currently operates 100 trucks with strategically located terminals. Veteran Carriers sets itself apart by delivering a premium service experience to its customers with exceptional customer service and driver appreciation.
Under the visionary leadership of Cliff White and in collaboration with Rob Cooch, the company has become a trusted name within the industry and is poised to solidify its position as an industry leader.
Rob Cooch
Rob Cooch, the Director of Maintenance Operations, joined the Air Force 15 years ago. With multiple tours in Afghanistan and training as a JTAC instructor, Rob's dedication is unmatched. After his last deployment in 2013, Rob realized the importance of planning for his future beyond the military. Inspired by his entrepreneurial family, Rob ventured into the transportation industry, fueled by his love for mechanics.
In 2013, C&C Coastal Trucking was born. With a focus on excellent maintenance and driver well-being, Rob aimed to provide exceptional service. Recognizing the potential for growth, Rob partnered with Cliff White in 2017 to form Veteran Carriers. Combining Cliff's customer service expertise with Rob's mechanical knowledge, they built a successful business.
Today, Veteran Carriers is a testament to their shared vision and commitment. They consistently exceed expectations while upholding their values of integrity, excellence, and passion for their craft.
